More than two decades with Hipotels… always looking forward
Susana has been part of the Hipotels family for over 23 years, and her journey has been as varied as it has been enriching. She began from the ground up, full of enthusiasm, as a team animator. Over time, she grew, trained, learned, and reinvented herself.
Now, in her new role as Animation Coordinator for Andalusia, she supports and supervises animation teams across hotels in destinations like Conil, Chiclana, or Novo Sancti Petri, bringing a global, fresh, and deeply human vision. Every team has its own essence, but they all share a purpose: creating memorable experiences for guests.
“Animation isn’t just entertainment. It’s connecting, surprising, touching… and adapting each day to the people in front of you. That’s the real key,” she says.
Leading from closeness
Susana doesn’t command, she accompanies. She believes in horizontal leadership based on trust, active listening, and individual development. She knows a motivated team is reflected in happy guests.
She likes to be present, get to know every animator, share ideas and celebrate achievements. And when something needs reinventing, she does it with passion: she’s introduced professional scenery, collaborations with audiovisual technicians, and new formats of shows that impress with their quality and originality.

Hotel animation is no longer what it was years ago, and Susana knows that better than anyone. Under her leadership, family activities, night shows, and cultural or sports proposals have transformed into experiences that go far beyond traditional entertainment.
There are nights when the whole team throws themselves into mounting a theme party. There are mornings when they design personalized activities for the little ones. And there are many, many touching stories behind each gesture, each dance, each smile exchanged between team and guest.
“What moves me most is seeing how a family leaves the hotel feeling they’ve lived something unique. Because that means we’ve been part of their story in some way,” she shares with pride.
The vocation born from movement
Before arriving at Hipotels, Susana dreamed of becoming a gymnast. Though life didn’t allow that path, she never lost her love for movement, expression, and art. She trained in dance, in flamenco, and later found in animation the perfect stage to unite all that: body, emotion, and human connection.
Today, she continues to be passionate about her work. A person who believes nothing is impossible when done with heart, perseverance, and joy.
