At Hipotels we believe that well-designed spaces are not only seen, they’re felt! And when it comes to creating places that inspire energy, health and well‑being, local talent makes all the difference.
That’s why, in the renovation of the new Fit&Play gym at Hipotels Barrosa Garden, we wanted to go a step further and bring artistic life to the walls. The result? A spectacular mural by Chiclanero artist Francisco Prainz, who transformed the space with a unique style and powerful visual energy.
A project with heart (and freehand spray paint)
It all started with a call from the Hipotels design team, who were already familiar with Francisco’s work in other Chiclana venues. After an initial visit to the gym and reviewing the layout of the machines and workout zones, the artist had a clear vision: human figures in motion, a monochromatic play of light and shadow, and high expressiveness.
“I worked entirely freehand, fitting proportions by eye with spray paint directly on the wall. I wanted the mural to live, to move, and to accompany those who train here every day,” he tells us.
An inspiring atmosphere
Beyond the artistic result, Francisco highlights something that fills us with pride: the working environment. “It was an extraordinary experience. I was surrounded by carpenters, painters, electricians… All perfectly coordinated, with mutual respect. It felt like an orchestra. And the kitchen team was top‑notch! They made me feel at home,” he shares.

Backing our own
For Francisco, it’s especially meaningful that a company like Hipotels supports local artists and professionals. “There is so much talent in the province. When you trust people from here, you create unique spaces with their own identity. And that also connects with visitors seeking authenticity,” he explains.
The mural at the Fit&Play gym is not just wall art. It’s a statement of intent. It’s energy, movement, and community. And, above all, it reflects a working philosophy where talent and local closeness take center stage.
Thank you, Francisco, for this inspiring work!
